More Excitement

I am officially crazy.

Last night I decided to go out shopping with one of my good friends. This would be a normal occurrence in most people's lives except for one thing. We decided to go out shopping despite the fact that there was a major storm headed our way which had already produced at least one tornado......

What can I say, we really wanted to go shopping! It wasn't raining yet when we set out on the adventure. It was just dark an ominous towards the west. I think we could have had a fairly profitable experience too, if we hadn't decided to go to the outside shopping mall. Yeah, mistake numero uno. They just have better stores there! Really!

So, in a strike of genius we park my car, the Buick boat, in a parking garage in case there was hail. (There was an eerie green tint to the sky.) And meander off to Express. Now, I am a power shopper and would have been out in 10-15 minutes, I don't mess around when it comes to shopping. I want maximum buying power for time spent. But my friend is a lingerer. She took far too long in Express and by the time we decided to move on to the next store it was raining cats and dogs. (Seriously, water was pooling inside the doors of the store.)

Then came the security guard. He told us that the whole shopping center was going on lockdown because of the storm. Seriously. Lockdown. I do not kid. It was at this point that we realized the dilemma, we could stay in Express for the next hour or so and wait out the storm, but we had already purchased all the cute stuff and there was really nothing to do..... Or we could make a run for the Barnes and Nobel down the street ,where her sister worked, and we could at least read during our trapped time.

So we ran. Amid scary cloud to ground lightening and teeny tiny hail we ran for the doors of Barnes and Nobel like we were being chased by an army of blingtards.

Her sister let us in, despite the lockdown, and we waited out the storm sipping chai and reading somewhat scholarly books. (Okay, we might have picked them out to look scholarly, and we might have pretended to have English accents to look all smart and sophisticated. We had a lot of time to blow, guys, and there were only like three people in the whole two story book store. Why not do a little fake sophisticated bit. Spice it up man, spice it up!)

Overall, despite all the crazy weather drama, it was a really fun evening. I think it always works out to be fun when you get stuck somewhere and have to make your own fun. Or maybe I'm just really easily amused. Either way, I'm making the most out of life. :)

What a Day

So my Wednesday was very eventful. Now you get to hear about it! :)

The day began with massive inventory sorting, I realized that I have around 100 pairs of shoes but I only ever used around 5 pairs because I could never find the others. The same goes for hair. And when I'm being honest I'll admit that hair and shoes are my two biggest expenses in SL. I can never stop myself from getting new ones, nor can i stop myself from loosing old ones into the abyss known as my inventory.


This sorting process began to take quite a while so I decided I should relax while I'm sorting. This lead to me breaking out my mini-pool made be the lovely Alicia Chenaux. It's the perfect way to work on a tan, a buzz, and some inventory.

Now you may think that my night stops there, but no. It goes on, waaaaay on. You see, last night was CeN's birthday blowout. At 8 everyone hustled into the rave ball for some serious fun. And let me tell you, EVERYONE came. There were around 35 people there! I didn't recognize at least a third of them, but we all had massive fun regardless. After it was over I realized I had only taken two pictures! TWO! I am full of fail. Seriously. I didn't even get on of the birthday girl CeN! I'm terrible! But, I was just having too much fun. So it's not my fault, it's yours (if you went to the party) for distracting me! :P

I Love My UTI!

Okay, ummmmm, yeah...

I was watching America's Best Dance Crew on MTV tonight (I know, I watch lame reality TV) and I saw one of the funniest commercials OF MY LIFE.

Now, I need to preface this, this commercial does not know it is funny. It thinks it is an informative commercial about Universal Technical Institute. But it is not.

It just happens to throw around it's acronym A LOT in the commercial. And what is that acronym? UTI. Oh yes, UTI, as in urinary tract infection. All I could think of, while they were singing the praises of automotive schooling, was why all these men were so gung ho about bladder pain. OMG, I nearly died laughing.

And that is all.

So, yeah...

Between tornado/flood warnings in RL I managed to make it on SL and be crazy. A bunch of the ch'know groupers got together and started building on two campers. It was mass hilarity but i'll leave the pics for someone else to throw up on their blog, i cant steal all the fun. Lets just say that one little camper become a boy and one became a girl. (complete with a little gray kitty and ass hat, lol) We took a bunch of pics and harassed Wrath to come visit but he was too hyped up on top shelf 'ritas and anti-socialism to join in.

Right before I had to run off to grab some dinner (mmmmm, chicken) we took this shot. I think it shows our general BAMF nature. (And I managed to snag priceless expressions from both Cen and Ali, sorry about the closed eyes Khari, but you still look hardcore) Yeah, we rock.... hard.

Stupid SL is not allowing logins right now. Makes me all anrgy-like.

So I thought I'd make a post about my frustration.

Ahhhhh, Summer

I admit it, I'm getting cabin fever. It's so warm out and beautiful and I am feeling that familiar need to commune with nature.

I figured if I was getting antsy for the great outdoors in RL then my poor little avi must be too. So I took her out to surfline and let her get a little sun. (I really couldn't help hamming it up for the camera too..... I know.... I'm an attention whore)

Thats about it, just some nature love, and possibly some shopping later. You know how that goes.

Just Can't Dump Him

So yeah, I think I'm in an abusive relationship with SL.

SL just does not care about me the way I care about him. I set up dates and then he's just offline for some lame excuse. Or I'm in the middle of a nice evening with him and all the sudden he just shuts me down!

Or I have a nice outfit all planned out for the evening and he decides he does not want me to wear a prim skirt and I have to go in pants instead. And really, he never tells me when anything is going on. Like the fact that his personal issues are causing him to constantly leave me high and dry, but I only find out after the fact.

And when it comes down to it, I think he's cheating on me with thousands of other users every second of the day.

Oh, SL, I love you but all you give me is hurt.
