So, I've just been doing really normal things in my really normal life. Going to class, wishing it was warmer, spending time with friends, generally being boring.
Bone and I recently redid all of our land, replacing most of the skyboxes and redoing the others. We replaced our main skybox with this one from Reek, and I just love it. It's so bright and airy and it feels more and more like home as we spend time in it.
Have you ever been in the middle of something and looked back, for whatever reason, and realized: wow, this is very different than where it started. Not that where it started was inferior, nor where it ended up.
It's sort of like grape juice.
See, I really like grape juice. I enjoy it's grape-y taste and all the elements of the juice. But maybe you put that juice in the fridge and forget it.
Then one day you pull it out, and... OMG... this is wine! (Okay, I know it doesn't quite work like that, but for the purpose of my analogy go with it.) And, man, is that wine good. It's yummy and all that great stuff.
Now, do you mourn the grape juice? Well no, you have wine! Was that grape juice any less than the wine? No again, you really liked that grape juice.
So, I totally stole this from the lovely Laleeta... but my perfect day, is on a prim boat.
And The Lonely Island really sum up what it is to be on a boat, with their aptly named song, "I'm on a boat."
So, I submit my own personal rendition of "I'm on a Prim Boat!"

I just realized that Ive been blogging my little slife for over a year now. Crazy!
The topic at hand today looks at how blogging has enriched you life. Now, I don't know that blogging has enriched my life... I see it more as an extension of my life. A little place to document my quiet little path through SL. I never really put much thought into what my readers would like to hear or anything. This is more of a little chronicle of my adventures, if someone finds amusement from it, then I'm pleased. If not, I'm ok with that too. I just like being able to look back over where I have been, and the journey that got me to where I am today.
And, today, I'm very, very happy. So, somewhere along the line I must have done something right.
To close, I give you a picture of the first thing I did with my fancy-smancy Abiss couch after I brought it home
Sunburn sucks Tube tops are always a good bet Get the meal plan, it saves money and is full of amazing! Flip flops are a bad idea and cause blisters Something is going on because lines are CRAZY short so far WTF, why is there no free internet!!!! Giant tanks of water over your head cause bad cell phone reception Air conditioned rides are COLD! Some rides kinda suck... In-resort shuttles are GOD!
Nothing ever turns out well when I dress up as a bunny. But for some reason I still continue to dress as bunnies, in their various incarnations. I guess I will never learn.
This is why Laleeta and I cannot be trusted with bunny costumes.
I was randomly shopping today when I came across the cutest shirt. It said "cupcake graveyard" and had a little picture of a stomach full of cupcakes on it. I was thinking, "Well, that is clever. I need that shirt."
Well, I picked it up and threw it on with a pair of beige shorts and, OMG, it was love. I just loved everything about it, the subtle fade, the awesome shading, the clever art. It is official, I am in tee shirt love.
If you wanna be cool like me, go to Reek and get this shirt. It comes in pretty much every color of the rainbow. Maybe, you will fall in love too.
So, I decided to make a little trip back in time to the 1950's. I donno why, I just like the kitschy era and the silly piety that encompassed it. I have sort of a tongue in cheek approach to the time. I know I would have been a disobedient/outspoken daughter, troublemaker of a friend and an insubordinate/essentially useless housewife. But, I still love the silliness of the time.
Look as me in the kitchen, you know the only thing I was making in there all day were some strong martinis. Maybe some cookie dough, but you know I ate it instead of baking it.
But it is pretty right? I would have spent, like, hours making the entire house look pristine; I love interior design. But, really, we can essentially surmise that my kitchen is a decorative item.
And, God knows, these would have been my crazy/awesome friends:
